well i finaly managed to do 2 of the ascension missions last night,had to resort to pug`s. I have to say it made it a lot easier than using henchies they just didn`t have what it takes to beat the thirsty river mission,i could kill 1st group no prob but after that we just got slaughterd, but with pugs we just cut through them all,the only prob was the last group,who killed us 1st time 2nd time we where more organized and did it with no losses.

Elona reach seemed to be a breeze when u dont need to run arond carrying the shard`s the ghost gives you, as you have to with henchies then drop it to fight the groups and so on....we just had the monk carry them and had no probs at all.

so finally dunes of despair...hopefully give it a go today some time then on to fight my double.....it`s been a long hard week using henchies and keep getting beaten,but i seem to be getting somewhere now...at last .. :)


i know it`s hard to meet up with some of you guys for missions as of the time diff,thats why i was using henchies,but if you get the right pug it makes things a lot easier,you will get in some bad groups(i did at 1st thats what put me of) just keep trying and you will have no probs.... :)

This is true of almost all the missions from the desert on. Many you need people for as hench just arent smart enough. The problem is getting a good group that will stick together and follow a plan. Sometimes it takes 6-12 tries to find a good group.

yep DH i know what you mean,had loads of probs last night trying to do thunderhead,the last part when u have to keep the king alive. no matter what plans we made stick with the king or man catapults, most ppl just seemed to do there own thing even when we were shouting stick together every one just whent in all directions......on a better note i got fully asscended and whooped my double`s ass in about 40 secs,then picked up a good group flew through the dragons lair and killed glint........ :)

Very nice job in killing Glint. I have taken 2 characters through there and havent killed him yet. Glad to see u making very good progress through the game. I cant wait to do some adventuring with u in the future.

thanx rickey it was tough only 3 of us left by the time we killed him,we had no probs till we got to glint. i think i was lucky and just got in a good group.
And look forward to doing some adventuring with you to ...as for the game i think its just awsome...it must be as i havent played yugi for weeks,it just seems to be a bit tedious at the moment so i shall give it a rest and concentrate on GW
