I finally got the 10,000 faction points I needed to get that quest done to continue with the storyline. BTW it does NOT take your faction points from you. After I completed the quest I turned them into guild factions.

I guess I need to get started on that project. I tried to get Thud through Vizunah Square last night, but there were NO MONKS, heck there were barely enough people to for 2 groups at 10pm. Whats up with that.

Is this quest you are talking about for the expansion? And if not, where do I need to go to get it?

It is a FACTIONS Primary Quest called Friend of the Luxons.

Maybe I can help you tomorrow night. I wont be on tonight I have a meeting tomorrow morning at 10am so that means I have to get up at 8am :( so no guild for me tonight or tomorrow. :(:(:(

Can we use our characters that we already have in Factions and if so wont that make the game awful easy or do you still need to go through the original to unlock the areas in Factions?

Factions is designed to incorporate alot of lvl 20 PVP into the PVE storyline. There are 2 Factions that do missions against each other for control of various mission sites. You have to choose a faction and build up 10,000 faction points (doing quests or PVP missions) to move on in the storyline.

Tyrian Characters start at the beginning of the Canthan high level area (like Droks in Tyria). The first mission is a cooperative one. A group of 8 Tyrians starts one place and a group of 8 Canthans starts out in another, then meet and complete the mission together. PLEASE DONT try to do this mission (Vizunah Square) with Hench; it is inconsiderate to the other group that will also fail the mission when you find out that hench can not handle the swarms of afflicted you have to fight off.

Canthan characters start on an island off the mainland. Tyrians can backtrack there, but it is a waste of time. The Canthan island has numerous quests with high experience rewards. Unlike the slow Pre-Searing Ascalon, a Canthan character can go to level 20 on Shing Jea island in a single day. Factions is really designed for the level 20 characters.
