This weekend is a special Event. On the Canthan Starter Island of Shing Jea there is a Dragon Festival. The bottom of this post has how to get your Prohecies character there.
There are two special things to do at the festival. One is to get Jade Wind Orbs. On the fourth of July, the emperor will visit every two hours and you can trade 250 orbs for a Dragon Mask. Mostly this is for fun. There is a Guard in the center of town that has 4 quests that will net you 240 orbs if you do them. A level 20 character with a decent solo build can easily handle all but the last quest alone. The last quest you will have to be careful aggroing the level 18 fiends that are the cause of all the mayhem on Shing Jea during the festival. There is mention of more quests after, but I have not been able to find the Captain [whats his name?]. It is possible he was not available yesterday.
Also you get Festival Prizes for Festival Tickets. You buy tickets and can get more by playing festival games. Prizes can be as follows:
Rice Wine: works like 2 beer.
Jade Orbs
Gold
Bean Cakes: makes you move 25% faster for 5 minutes. These, like Candy Canes from the Winter Festival have real game use and will probably end up being both useful and worth about 1K.

The speed is being reporting as effective IN TOWN only so is ONLY useful in some of the games. Not going to be valuable. :(

If you are Tyrian: Go to Keining Center - exit to the South. Head south and avoid all combat to get to marketplace (dont go too far inland or you will hit a dead end). From Marketplace exit West to the docks. Talk to the first mate to get passage to Shing Jea island. You will end up in a Port town. Exit west out of the town and kill all the level 4-6 bugs along the path to Shing Jea monastery. About one monster in 10 drops Jade Wind Orbs.
