A little History
As most of you know gamerspride`s 1 year anniversary is uppon us 9/10/2006 to be exact.
September 10th 2005 was the day that gamerspride went official on it`s own servers, it was run by myslef, with no knowledge on how to do anything like this. Because having the board hosted on a free sever was so much easier, but it hurts when every sunday night the board would have to be shut down for maintenance, there was nothing I could do about it.
The origination of this board actually started in July of 2005, each post made to the board I had deleted after it was viewed, I did not know I had to keep all post for further viewing by new members, once i got the hang of things that all changed.
Dating back to july of 2005 to this date in time, this board would actually have well over 20,000 post.
This board has gone throught alot of changes in the past and it will continue to do so.
Starting with the free phpBB Board, moving on to the free phpBB2 board, then moving away from the free phpBB2 Board and on to my own servers with a phpBB2 board on september 10th 2005. after that it was alot of work trying to edit and run the board, thank god for barne`s n nobles and support forums.
finally on 3/11/2006 we moved from a fully moded phpBB2 board to a Vbulletin board and thats where we are now.
