A boy was at a carnival and went to a booth where a man said to the boy, "If I write your exact weight on this piece of paper then you have to give me $50, but if I cannot, I will pay you $50."

The boy looked around and saw no scale so he agrees, thinking no matter what the carny writes he'll just say he weighs more or less.

In the end the boy ended up paying the man $50. How did the man win the bet?

well i think that maybe

is it that the man got a scale from behind and measured him or his twin brother and their both the same

or does he steal the $50 from the boy

or maybe he gets the boy to tell him by hypnotising him

how about after he looked around for the scale and said yes did someone then come along and ask him for his weight and the man who had to write the weight overheard the boy saying his weight and wrote down the weight that he heard

You would be wrong Bigg. Do the punctuation as below. (I know from reading you kids' postings that they dont teach grammar in school anymore so you are at a disadvantage in word games like this...)

If I write "your exact weight" on this piece of paper then you have to give me $50, but if I can not then I will pay you $50.

By the literal terms of that agreement he just writes 3 words on the piece of paper and he is in the money.

If that isnt the scam then the other way is to write every possible wieght on the piece of paper and as long as any one of them is correct, he wins. But I like my orignal solution. It is a classic simple scam.
