It really depends on the skills you are using. Most rangers would run with higher expertise so their skills use less energy. Beast is high unless you are taking 3 beast skills and running as beast master.

U got it right bout build post but i don;t think pain is a good idea for barrage ranger, if u want to have a spirit my suggestion is shadow song, more protection than pain also, u should have some interupt in ur build such as savage shot or distraction shot . Well, this is just suggestions, do it or not is up to u.

any Runes? if so why are the two attribute numbers the same?
does Pain really do enough damage to be worth all the attributes and energy you spend? I would think a pet would do more than a spirit with that low of communing. Or maybe take another weapon instead and raise your restoration.
Favorable winds is ONLY good if your group has more rangers than your opponents.

well, i think he wants to use brutal weapon as a power boost to his dmg, but spirit takes 3~5 sec to cast, and cost lots of engergy. Also u have a good point, Dave. If u don't want any penalty in hp, u could use all minor runes for ranger and 1 major or sup vigor.

When I said another weapon I was not thinking or replacing brutal. I was thinking of replacing pain spirit with like splinter weapon and alternate splinter and brutal weapons. (I have not looked to see if those weapons are spammable or not, if they are then you only need one. If you are barraging anyway, splinter could be very nice.)

btw, if u wanna farming in SF or tomb, u must have a pet, and that will take 2 slots away from ur build
