400,000 ps3 was released on that day, all store were sold out at just about the time of release.
1,000,000 units will be shipped to the US in time for Christmas.

Circuit city has some outragous offer, Buy one 45" plasma tv and get 1 but the thing is the price of a 45" plasma tv is almost $5000 bucks, while a ps3 is $600 ps3 and on ebay the price is almost $2000 to 3000 for a ps3.:bb:

I did not care for the time of the release because Im waiting for the price to drop before I get one. When the Ps2 and Xbox came out I pay full price on them and 3 months later there price drop to half of what it was and I was not happy. So this time I will wait unless I get one for Xmas.

Far too big and expensive for my liking + the games cost a bomb too. I'll stick with the wii :)

Just to let everyone know I just purchased a PS3. Wal-mart just recieved 2 in today unexpected and I was able to get one. It is only the 20 gig hard drive. I now have to get me a game for this does anyone have any suggestions on what game I should get to best show off the graphics and power of this system.
