OK - Here are the monk builds I use for my heroes. I generally run them either healing or Prot/Heal blend. I only bought Major Healing Runes for my monk heroes so their max healing is 15.

Notes:
Order of the skills seems important. Put the ones you want them to use most first on their bar.

I use Res Chant on my monk heroes because it brings people back at full health and 1/3rd energy. So a ressed person is useful as soon they come up.

I like Jamies Gaze/Heal Other since for 10 energy I am getting 210-220 point heals.

HH Monk Healer
Healing 15
Divine Favor 12
Prot 2
Smite 2

Healing Hands
Jamies Gaze
Heal Other
Ethereal Light
Orison of Healing
Mend Ailment
Smite Hex
Ressurection Chant

Prot Blend Healer
Healing 15
Divine Favor 11
Protection 6
Smite 2

Reversal of Fortune
Mark of Protection
Jamies Gaze
Heal Other
Orison of Healing
Mend Ailment
Remove Hex
Ressurection Chant

I sometimes will drop Jamies Gaze for Divine Boon and have be a Boon Prot Blend Healer

Hopefully these help some of you, and hopefully someone can improve these builds by giving me suggestions.

I like the builds...and I agree, order does seem to matter with heroes. I have found that you can control what they use even better by not giving them a full skill bar. I know that it means less healing skills, but it means they will use the right healing skills when you want them to. For example, when I use my necro hero as a mm, I only give him 6 skills: Animate Bone Minions, Animate Flesh Golem, Animate Shambling Horrors, Animate Vampiric Horrors, Blood of the Master, and some form of res. I find that he doesn't need the standard mm build, which usually includes Heal Area(or Karei's Healing Circle), or any attack skills, because he is only there to make minions. With this build my hero always has the max number of minions he can have(as long as there are bodies) and he doesn't have any problems keeping them alive.

With my MM hero - I do a fairly Standard MM build including
Having Healing attribute at 9 with Heal area and Healing Breeze. Since none of my monks has healing breeze, this works well to bolster the party's healing capability, and he uses heal area to keep his minions up so when i go AFK for a while and come back they are all still there at full strength.
