Detroit vs New Jersey is always a safe bet...
Dunno if Buffalo will beat NJ or not this year...
I would love to see Sharks vs Islanders... :)

Atlanta V Rangers is not a match up.
I believe he is referring to the slim odds of Atlanta winning. Kind of like Bye in the first round for the Rangers...
lol Yeah I figured that out just a little to late:-| Somtimes my mind plays tricks on me.

Hopefully the Sharks can close their series out tonight...
And the Rangers better not forget that their next series wont be against an ECHL caliber opponent... (one good cheap shot to Jagr and their playoffs are over anyway - where did Marty McSorley go?)

Jagr's a bit tougher than people give him credit for, and as for playin' minor league teams... The Wolf Pack could take the Pacific division.

Its fine, Question for you all. So far whats your favorite match-up? As for me I enjoyed the Devils vs Lightning.

Wow - the Sharks are going to have to play the RedWings or the Ducks in the second round. Both teams are playing well. Its going to be rough in the west.
The Wolf Pack could take the Pacific division.
LOL - maybe Atlanta should have called up some minor leaguers and given the Rangers some real practice.
Now is the time for Buffalo to step it up and prove they have what it takes to go all the way.

Detroit - San Jose could be the most exciting series this year!
(Hope for some football like scores... :))

The Blueshirts gotta take the battle for the state. It's gonna be tough but if they can stay out of the box they got a shot.
:banghead: :p

If they forget they arent playing with Atlanta, the Sabres will slice them apart. Buffalo has some defense that can score and more balanced offense than Altanta.
I think you are correct: if they spend much time in the box, they might as well call the country club for tee times.

Rangers are in trouble... :)
There are some good close games going on. The Sharks almost stole both games at Detroit. Hope they can put some hurt on them tonight and wednesday at home...

wow so lost man
Like that is unusual...
Hockey is what soccer would be if they put it on a small ice surface with walls and gave the guys sticks to hit each other with and made the goals smaller than a building. Guess it is a little too fast paced for you.
And the Sharks did it. Taking the series lead. If Wednesday is a home victory then the motor city boys are in trouble.
(I never knew so may people in motor city had names ending in ...ov :))

The Blueshirts gotta due it in Beantown man. With the help of Henrik and some disiplined play we won maybe to date the most important game in 13 years to tie the series at two. Tommorow is a big one fer Blue.[SIZE="3"]

The Rangers are just barely hanging in there with buffalo. Every game has been 1 goal difference.
Same for the Sharks basically. Lots of good close games.
More importantly - NJ is going down in flames... I am so tired of seeing the devils in the finals.
And a bit of interesting trivial - The goalie with best Goals against in the playoffs is...
Marty Turco (Dallas Stars)
um - they got beat in the first round with the best goalie!?!?

What can I say the Rangers blew a golden opportunity to come home one game away from the semi's. With seven seconds left in the third they gave up a game tieing goal to send the game into OT. Then another chance missed when they came up with a goose egg on a power play in sudden death, only to give up a power play goal.

That is painful for the Rangers. Now it is a tossup in Game 7...
The Sharks played a bad 2nd and 3rd period and lost to the Redwings Saturday.
They have to win tonight or its all over...
