I have been playing Silkroad for about 2 weeks. Here is my review:
The gaming system is good, the controls and graphics are fine. The price is great (free)!
It has NO storyline, strictly a Grind from level 1 to 70 with quests that require you to go spend hours killing hundreds (and I am NOT exagerating - commonyl you have to kill between 50 and 300 of a monster for quests) of one creature.
The servers are always crowded and once you are on, you dont dare log off to take a break.
I got bored with the grind before I got into their trader/guard/thief part of the game.
In July they jump the level cap from 70 to 100 and inctroduce a new Europe starter region (currently it is China for starters) so they will have the entire silk road trip available. from china to italy overland thru persia.
