did some price checking last week and according to my math lotro is around the same price as wow

$30 = 60 day play of wow

$15 = 30 day play of lotro

Right now LOTRO is $9.97 per month if you buy 3 months. They say it is a limited time offer, but its been that way for 2 months now. They also permanently lowered the initial purchase from $30 to $20 this month so I dont know if it will ever go back up. They have a lifetime subscription $200 offer (which is what I did) so I will never pay a monthly fee.

It is also a better game (less grinding) and much better community than WoW. (From what I have been told). On global chat there are really no insults and if you ask on the advice channel peopel will answer you nicely and sometimes offer to help. Apparently the average age in LOTRO is a bit mroe mature than WoW.

Thats a good idea amp. They do sell prepaid cards (60days).

I already got a lifetime subscription though, so I dont them.

I got a referral from a founder (someone who activated a lifetime account from their open beta account).

When I signed up I got an option for lifetime for $200.

I am not sure if you get that option without a founders referral.
