Naruto ps3 project

the news has been around for a while now...on youtube there are trailers of a project of cyberconnect2 working on a naruto game for ps3

there is no solid information yet like a release date or anything like that but it does have a trailer and 1 in HD quality aswell (the second 1 runs slower because its in HD but their both the same video)

none the less this looks to be a good game with a new fighting system and u should also be allowed to walk around the village...i also heard this rumour that u myt b able to change the voice languages to japanese for those who like the japanese voices

i'll be on the lookout for some more info on this game

also sometime in march is the release of naruto ultimate ninja 3 in north america in march sometime be on the lookout lol

well ranma u haven't quite outdone me on getting the info for this game :p

2 new things that i've got:

1. This ps3 project finally has a title...its called Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm

obviously its decided to carry on the legacy of the ultimate ninja games, but from the trailers, the battle system looks far different :)

2. the box art of this game has been half released

This game looks freakin awesome. To hell with waiting for final fantasy to come out. When this game hits the market here in the US, I will definately be picking this up and a P3 as well. yeah

it seems that the story will rewind a bit to the story arc (which means the part of the story its going to follow eg. the final competition and the destruction of the leaf village is a story arc) from the 1st episode i think maybe just after the land of waves part

so the story will run start from the 1st episode and go up to watever episode we're on now i assume

next namco bandai say that they expect another series of 'Storm' games for naruto starting from naruto's days in the academy...which might mean that they'll use more than 1 game to cover the entire dubbed season so far

now this game will apparently offer both fighting and freedom adventure modes (freedom adventure sounds like a free roaming environment to me). the single player campaign promises over 100 missions set in 3D iteratrions of popular locations (wow it rhymes lol)...which means over 100 missions set in the popular locations that we've come to know from watching the anime series.

also in roaming mode u can run up walls and walk on water (wat u'd expect from a naruto game of any sort)...it also says u'll b able to take up to 2 support characters on ure missions with u...which i guess u'll have 2 make friends with them in roaming mode 1st

25 ninjas will b in this game at least donning 'awakening' abilities that activate under certain cir***stances

atm there r no signs of any kind of multiplayer mode other than 1 vs 1 mode which is clearly u just battling with a friend

wow thats quite a few new details :) all of this stuff coming in the game which is this fall...can't wait :)

good news for those in europe who can't import this game but want 2 (i myt b one of them lol)

this game will b out in europe in November 2008 so the difference isn't so bad, the same can't b said for the current ultimate ninja games the last 2 have taken more than 6 months to b released over here but i never studied the release differences for the 1st one because i didn't no it existed at that time lol

but wen they say november i hope they don't mean an entire month after the US release i.e the US gets it on the 1st October and the UK gets it 30th November cause that sux :(...hehe i hope its october 30th and november 1st :)

anyway just a glimmer of hope for european ppl getting this like me :)

its been a while since news came out and this isn't huge exactly...i guess that the studio's refuse to tell us more about the game lol

all it is is a an interview with the Cyberconnect2 president Hiroshi Matsuyama and they talk about the technical engine used in the ps3 game that give it its anime look

we have a huge update on this game from our old friend gamespot

ultimate ninja storm was featured in this weeks gamespot on the spot (i'd never heard of this before lol) but like i said a huge amount of details given on this game

in the video skip ahead to the 18th minute to watch the storm bit...before that is a bit about Hellboy: Raising hell if u want to watch that but around the 18th minute is the bit where the storm developers walk on...i haven't finished watching it yet meaning its more than 14 minutes long...the only bit of bad news that has been said so far is no online gameplay :( but the rest looks phenomenal...enjoy

well this isn't something to do with media or reports but this is a personal viewing

i have done some interacting with another person (his PSN is Spidex3000 for those interested) and i traded him something of mine from PSN and he gave me the Storm demo from Qore in America (it was hardly the best deal i've ever done but it was worth it in my opinion because now i don't have to wait for PSN lol) but anyway the point is i now have the storm demo and i have to say...this game blows me away the indepth fighting, the amazing graphics and well designed moves all packed into one i can't wait for this game but now i have something to satisfy my interests in this game, the demo includes just 2 characters and their supports namely naruto and his supports sasuke and sakura and kakashi who's support is Gai

some of u ppl will b pleased to hear that japanese voices r in this game (didn't really touch on this before) nd i know that because they were in the demo lol

just 1 thing that will bug me about this game is the sound of the menu wen u click an option, the yeo is more like yeeeooo in a strange accent lol nd i think that could become annoying lol

anyway thats it from me for now the demo will be out July 17th on PSN i believe or if u can't wait then download Qore for $2.99 and get the demo Free

BIG WILLI forgot to post this the other day but I did download the demo to try it out and Im hooked. Even though u can only choose either Naruto or Kakashi it doesnt matter the game itself seems so amazing. I really cant wait for this game to come out .

we're now soon approaching the release date of this game in the US just over a month from now and the apparent UK release in november in about 2 months but it doesn't look like www.game.co.uk (http://www.game.co.uk) know about it yet because i've done multiple searches and still can't find it, only the broken bond

and of course ultimate ninja 3, ultimate ninja 3 has 2 possible release dates that i've heard about, one of them was 5th september (yestarday) or 26th september but game.co.uk isn't helping seeing as their release date is set to 9/2008 (NOT HELPING ANY1 :() but if its not out yet it will b in 20 days (i think lol)

we've had a breakthrough that has revealed the entire character list via a glitch in the newly opened character section. In simple terms sometimes when people have visited the new character section on www.ultimateninjastorm.com (http://www.ultimateninjastorm.com) there has been a glitch and all the character slots have been shown...this hasn't happened to me personally but some1 has reported it (actually its the 1st time i've heard this lol)

the glitch has revealed 36 characters (for those of u going :O:O whats going on, there was only supposed 2 b 25 characters well u r correct but in the original statement said 25 CUSTOMIZABLE characters leaving an extra 11 to be revealed possibly playable but most likely as support) and here they are: http://img135.imageshack.us/my.php?image=nunzcharslj1.jpg

but with this news i am sorta depressed, u ask y? well its simple, this means that we have found out that Zabuza and Haku won't b in this game :( how could they miss them out, that is how naruto's power began to unravel itself from inside him, its vital yet they've missed them both out, its just wrong

and thats all away from the fact that Zabuza is 1 of my favourite characters

also notice how the 1st and 2nd hokagehave made it in, they will obviously b support characters to orochimaru vs 3rd hokage

is that the release date in america has been pushed back from october (something) to november 4th which is unlucky for all u keen americans but i have to say (sorry) that i'm partially happy bout this because it means that us europeans won't b as far behind on getting this game now (our release date being november 28th i think) so thats 24 days we're behind rather than over a month or over 6 months as we still haven't got ultimate ninja 3 i don't think lol

well heres some news that myt please any american's that have been following this thread, turns out that gamestop r pulling in the normal game at $59.99 and they've recently (in the last few days) announced a limited edition at $69.99 and for the extra $10 u get 1 steel book case, 1 original soundtrack CD with 18 original soundtracks, a laser cell picture of sasuke vs naruto (don't ask me wat laser cell means), and 2 collectable cards...and of course u get the game disc

no news on if europe will b getting this limited edition or not

there is just 1 thing i noticed that seemed annoying, the leaf village looks empty while he was walking around, although he coulda done alot more and talked to the ppl i have to admit generally the village seemed sorta empty...but thats not gonna put me off this game :)
