Why do you guys think they are going to do anything but get closer to the advanced format rules currently in use by the card game tournaments? Just go to upperdeck and find the banned/restricted lists. That is basically what they did last time. Hopefully they will ban some ugly cards like yata garasu before everyone online gets the chance to hate them (unlike stein, which I think is still legal in the cardgame).

Look at advanced- lots of changes: Magician of faith - limited to one, Nobleman Xout - limit to one. Upperdeck keeps changing to keep the game interesting. Konami is slower but is just following. They may only try for traditional rules and let us all suffer waves of chaos decks with BLS or Chaos Emperor Dragon, the one card lock of yata garasu, etc. before changing (which would be smart for them financially).

If you want to affect a change, try contacting upperdeck. Konami isnt really in control of this game.

Dont spend all your money buying cards today. They may not be all that hot if Konami finally gets this new release schedule on track.
