LIVE WWE MONDAY NIGHT RAW COVERAGE
- The music hits, the pyro explodes as Jim Ross welcomes us to a sold out AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas. The crowd looks hot tonight. Jim Ross, Jerry Lawler, Mick Foley, Michael Cole, Tazz and Mike Adamle are all ringside. They announce tonight, Superstars from the three brands will wrestle in matches to win a pick for their brand.
Mike Adamle talks about Vince's $1 million as Jim Ross tells us tonight's money password is NIGHT OF CHAMPIONS. We go to Lilian Garcia in the ring.
Triple H vs. Mark Henry
The WWE Champion makes his way to the ring for tonight's opening match to determine which brand gets the first pick. Out next is Triple H's opponent, Mark Henry representing SmackDown.
Henry talks trash to Triple H as the bell sounds and the match gets ready to go. Triple H gives him a big crotch chop and tells him to suck it. Henry picks Triple H up in a big bear hug but The Game bounces off the ropes only to get knocked down by a Henry shoulder.
Henry hits Triple H with big right hands, mostly controlling the match. The Game starts to fight back but gets dropped again by another right hand. The crowd gets behind Triple H as he gets up only to get scoop slammed by Henry, who is still controlling the match. Henry gets a 2 count on the WWE Champion.
Henry goes to splash Triple H and nails it off the top rope but only gets a 2 count as The Game's foot hits the ropes. And another 2 count on Triple H. Henry covers for yet another 2 count. Triple H finally fights back with body shots but gets lifted high by Henry. Triple H slides out of the hold and staggers Henry with big right hands.
Triple H hits a big face buster, more right hands and a high knee that finally knocks Henry off his feet. Triple H goes for the Pedigree but gets slammed by Henry and pinned with another 2 count. Henry misses a running splash on Triple H and he gets back to his feet, hits the Pedigree and pins Henry for the win.
Winner: Triple H
- After the match, the WWE Draft Lottery flashes on the screen and lands on Rey Mysterio. Rey Mysterio has been drafted to RAW. Rey's music hits and he comes out to the entrance way to a huge ovation as Triple H watches on in the ring. Rey walks to the ring, shaking hands with the fans and shakes hands with Triple H in the ring.
- Back from commercial and Vince McMahon comes to the entrance way where the money is. Vince talks about Rey's change to RAW and says he is sure more surprises will be coming. Vince says tonight, 5 lucky winners will win $100,000 and then one person will win $500,000. Vince brings out Kelly Kelly to help him give out the first prize tonight. A lady named Crystal picks up the phone and gives him the right password but Vince thinks its the wrong one and Kelly Kelly has to correct him. The lady wins $100,000.
- Backstage we see Rey Mysterio talking to Triple H. John Cena walks in and starts talking about last week and the usual stuff. Triple H tells him to stay out of his business and he doesn't want his help. Triple H says it's personal now. He says he's never gotten over Cena beating him two years ago. Cena talks some trash and Triple H hold the WWE Title in his face and says until he takes that from, he is nothing. We go back to commercial.
Finlay and Hornswoggle vs. Santino Marella and Carlito
This is another match to determine which brand gets a draft pick. Finlay and Hornswoggle are out first representing SmackDown, followed by their RAW opponents Carlito and Santino Marella.
Finlay and Santino start the match off and Santino hits his knees, mocking Hornswoggle. Finlay attacks him and tags in Hornswoggle. Horny comes in with a mini-stunner and a 2 count. Horny steps on Santino again for another 2 count. Horny slides away from Santino and tags in Finlay who comes in to a huge clothesline from Santino.
Finlay catches Santino inside the ring apron and pounds on him. Hornswoggle comes flying and takes down Carlito. Back in the ring, Carlito goes to work on Finlay, working him over in the corner. Carlito tags back in Santino who gets leveled by Finlay. Finlay also kicks Carlito off the apron and gets his shilleigh from Hornswoggle. Santino takes it and the referee sees him and takes it back. Hornswoggle comes off the top rope with a tadpole splash and pins Santino for the win.
Winners: Finlay and Hornswoggle
- The WWE Draft graphics flash on the screen and Jeff Hardy is drafted to SmackDown! The Hardy Boys will be reuniting on SmackDown unless Matt gets drafted! Hardy's music hits and he comes out to the entrance to a huge pop. Hardy claps and celebrates with Finlay, Hornswoggle and the fans.
- As Hardy is celebrating in the arena, Randy Orton is shown backstage watching RAW on a TV screen. The former WWE Champion is wearing a sling on his arm, looking not too happy.
- Back from commercial and Vince is ready to give out more money. He brings out Randy Orton to help him give it way this time. Orton comes out in a sling with a microphone. Orton says he was forced to be here tonight because he is eligible for the Draft. Orton says he has something to say to John Cena and Triple H. He says they better hope to hell he gets Drafted tonight because when he is back, he will be the WWE Champion once again. Orton apologizes to Vince and says he is not in the mood to give away $100,000 and walks off. Vince says he is but he wants to give away a great main event too and announces Edge vs. John Cena.
The phone rings and a woman named Samira picks up the phone. The lady asks Vince if he wants the password and gives him the correct words, winning $100,000. He asks her who is going to win the Cena vs. Triple H match at Night of Champions and she says Triple H. Still tonight, we will see a 15 man tri-brand battle royal with the winning brand getting two draft picks and the main event of John Cena vs. Edge. Back to commercial.
Cody Rhodes and Hardcore Holly vs. Chavo Guerrero and Bam Neely
The WWE Tag Team Champions come out first, representing RAW in this RAW vs. ECW match for a draft pick. Ted DiBiase Jr. is ringside with Jerry Lawler and has his dad's brand new book. ECW's Chavo and Bam Neely are out next.
Bam and Cody start the match with Bam getting the best of Rhodes. Chavo gets tagged in and works on Cody in the corner. The ref gets distracted and Bam hits Cody from the back. Cody fights back with a dropkick and Holly gets tagged in. Holly works on Chavo and takes a shot at Bam on the ropes.
Cody comes in, takes down Chavo and Bam Neely. Cody tries to throw Chavo over the top and ends up on the outside himself. Holly grabs Chavo for the Alabama Slam and drops him for the pinfall and the win.
Winners: Cody Rhodes and Hardcore Holly
- The WWE Draft graphics flash on the big screen again and this time, CM Punk has been drafted to RAW! Punk's music hits and he comes out to the ramp with his Money in the Bank briefcase. Punk celebrates with the fans as we cut backstage.
- We go backstage where the WWE Intercontinental Champion Chris Jericho is shown walking to the ring as we go back to commercial.
- Back from commercial and the WWE Intercontinental Champion Chris Jericho's music hits as he makes his way out to the ring, not dressed to wrestle. Jericho says he didn't expect much of an ovation from the fans because the people have been brainwashed into believing Shawn Michaels is a good person.
Jericho says he keeps coming out and telling the truth about Michaels and it will only be a matter of time before he turns on them as well. Jericho shows a video of HBK turning his back on various people over the years.
Jericho continues his rant on Michaels and how the people still stick by his side. Jericho says he refuses to allow the fans to chant for him any longer because he is not like any of them, he's an honest man and a good hearted person. He says the only other person like him is Lance Cade, who we see up on the big screen. Jericho talks about how Cade was Michaels' student and Cade says he was the greatest athlete to ever come out of HBK's academy.
Cade said he knew it was a matter of time before HBK turned his back on him also. Cade says HBK isn't going to get the chance to because he won't give it to him. Cade says the people might not appreciate Jericho, but he does. Jericho says he still doesn't have an opponent for Night of Champions and would love to defend against Michaels, but that won't be happening and we go back to the video of Jericho throwing HBK into the TV.
Jericho tells Michaels that the worse is yet to come. The music hits and out comes Shawn Michaels, also not dressed to wrestle and with the bandage over his eye. HBK takes off his hat, starts staring at Jericho and running towards the ring. Michaels spears Jericho, getting on top of him and pummeling him. They go to the outside brawling with Jericho getting owned. Jericho manages to trip Michaels head first into the announcers table. Michaels lays there on the ground, twitching and rolling around, holding his eye. WWE officials come down to check on him as Jericho watches, smiling. We go back to commercial as Michaels lays there in agonizing pain, or so it seems.
- Back from commercial and we see a clip of what just happened with Michaels and Jericho. We go to Michael Cole and Tazz who go over the Draft changes so far. To the next Draft match we go.
John Morrison and The Miz vs. The Hardy Boys
The WWE Tag Team Champions come out first, representing ECW. Vickie Guerrero comes to the ramp with Ryder and Hawkins, cutting the music. Vickie says she originally had this match setup so SmackDown could have a Draft pick. She says recent developments have changed her mind and she has found another tag team to face Miz and Morrison. Out comes Matt and Jeff, The Hardy Boys!
The Hardys come out to a huge pop from the WWE fans. Matt and The Miz start the match out Hardy knocking down Miz first. Matt and Miz go back and forth, trading shots in the corner. Matt levels Miz with a big clothesline and gets a 2 count. Jeff gets tagged in and the brothers hit a big double team move on Miz. Hard hits his sitting dropkick in the corner and gets another 2 count.
Hardy takes Miz down to the mat with a headlock and holds it. Hardy gets kicked in the back by Morrison. Morrison ends up hitting Hardy again and coming in to get a 2 count on Jeff. Morrison takes Jeff down to the mat as the crowd tries to get behind him. Hardy gets knocked down on the apron and kicked in the face by Morrison. The ref gets distracted and Miz jumps in on the double tam. Miz gets tagged back in and they hit another big double team move on Jeff for another 2 count.
The match goes back and forth with more tags and Jeff Hardy getting dominated. Another 2 count by Morrison. Miz comes back in and gets another 2 count. Hardy manages to take down Miz from the top. Matt finally gets tagged in, comes in and cleans house. Matt with a big clothesline and bulldog on Miz and Morrison at the same time. Hardy hits his trademark axe handle from the second rope and drops Morrison for a close 2 count.
Matt climbs to the top again but Morrison catches him. They fight on the top turnbuckle while Miz and Jeff fight outside. Matt pushes Morrison to the mat and hits a big leg from the top rope. Miz comes in, pulls the ref away. Morrison comes from behind and rolls Matt Hardy up for the pinfall and the win.
Winners: John Morrison and The Miz
- We go back to the big screen where the WWE United States Champion Matt Hardy is drafted to ECW! Matt and Jeff embrace in the ring as Matt climbs the ropes for the fans. We go back to commercial.
- Back from commercial and Vince McMahon is at the ramp, ready to give away some more money. Vince brings out Ric Flair to help him give away this $100,000. Flair comes out to a huge standing ovation from the crowd. This time a woman picks up named Donna and gives the correct password out, winning the $100,000. Flair gives a big Whoooo! to this as we cut backstage.
- Backstage we see WWE Women's Champion Mickie James and Melina walking to the ring, giving each other some love as we go back to commercial.
Mickie James and Melina vs. Natalya Neidhart and Victoria
This match is an Announcers Draft only match. Mickie and Melina come out first followed by Victoria and Natalya, who are wearing their BFF shirts. Natalya and Melina start the match off first.
Natalya bullies Melina until she catches a big right hand in the eye. Natalya with a big powerslam and a 2 count on Melina. Victoria gets tagged in and starts kicking Melina in the head, throwing her in the turnbuckle and working on her mid section. Victoria continues to dominate Melina until Melina kicks her in the face and splashes her off the ropes for a 2 count.
Melina climbs the top rope but gets pushed off to the floor by Victoria. Melina lays on the floor, looking like she really hurt her ankle. Mickie protects her as officials start to come down. Victoria flies out of the ring, attacking Mickie and Melina. Natalya comes over here and the Divas brawl as Melina still lays on the floor. The referee rules this match a double DQ and says both RAW and SmackDown get a Draft pick.
Winners: DOUBLE DQ
- The graphics flash and Jim Ross gets drafted to SmackDown! Wow! Jim Ross stands up, and looks really pissed off as he takes his seat at the SmackDown announcers table. The other Draft pick is Michael Cole to RAW! Jim Ross looks legitimately pissed and there's a look of shock on everyone's faces. Back to commercial.
- Back from commercial and we see a clip of Melina falling on her ankle, where it looks like she sprained it. She was carried away from ringside, really crying. We go ringside with the new WWE announcing teams who still have a shocked look on their faces.
- Vince McMahon is back on the ramp, ready to give away some more money. Vince calls out The Great Khali to help him give out this prize. Vince talks about Khali being in the new Get Smart movie and asks him to say a few words about it, which he does, in his native language. Vince also brings up The Rock being in the movie and plugs WWE's new DVD on The Rock. They dial a number, the guy picks up and says its a wrong number. Khali starts yelling at the phone. They dial another number and a guy's dad picks up and calls his son to the phone. Of course, the guy wins the $100,000. Khali yells some more stuff into the phone. Edge's music hits out of nowhere.
Edge vs. John Cena
The World Heavyweight Champion Edge comes out to the ring first, representing SmackDown in this Draft pick match. We go to commercial before John Cena makes his entrance.
Back from a quick commercial and John Cena comes out to a huge pop from the WWE fans. Cena hits the ring to get ready to do battle with Edge. Edge and Cena lock up with Edge pushing him back in the corner. They go back and forth until Edge drops Cena with a right hand. Edge takes Cena down with more kicks to the head.
Edge continues to hit Cena with punches until Cena fights back only to get caught in a big powerslam and a 2 count by Edge. Edge keeps on pretty much controlling the match, keeping Cena grounded and dazed. Edge drops knees and kicks in Cena's back followed by short elbow drops. Cena finally drops Edge and covers him for a weak 2 count.
Edge comes back and pins Cena with his own 2 count. Cena fights back with big right hands and the two collide in mid-air and end up on their backs as the referee begins his count. Both men get back to their feet at six and Cena takes Edge down with high impact moves and a big back body drop, as usual. Cena hits the 5 Knuckle Shuffle on Edge, picks him up for the FU but Edge counters it. Edge gets picked up again for the FU but counters it for the big impaler DDT. Edge with a close 2 count.
Edge lines up Cena and gets ready to hit him with the Spear. Cena trips Edge and locks on the STFU. Edge finally reaches the ropes and the referee breaks Cena's hold. Edge pulls Cena's neck down over the ropes and gets back to his feet in the ring. Edge climbs to the top but Cena meets him up there and goes for a FU off the top rope. Edge slides out of it, knocks Cena off the top rope where he ends up on the floor, hitting his head. The ref begins his 10 count on Cena.
Cena catches Edge on his shoulders on the floor, carries him up the steel steps until Edge slides out of it again. Cena punches Edge to the floor and goes into the ring before the 10 count. Edge starts walking away and is counted out. Cena wins by countout.
Winner: John Cena by countout
As Edge is walking to the back, Batista attacks him from behind and beats him into the ring. Edge scrambles from the ring and leaves again as Cena and Batista look on.
- The WWE Draft graphics flash on the big screen and this time, Batista is drafted to RAW! Edge looks on, taunting Batista, who is still standing in the ring with Cena. Back to commercial we go.
- Back from commercial and we're backstage with Edge and Vickie Guerrero. Edge is talking about how he doesn't have to deal with Batista anymore. Vince McMahon walks in and reminds Edge he is still facing Batista at Night of Champions. Vince asks Vickie, what if Edge gets drafted off SmackDown tonight? Vince walks off.
MVP vs. Tommy Dreamer
MVP comes out first, representing SmackDown in this Draft pick match. Tommy Dreamer comes out next with Colin Delaney at his side. Dreamer and MVP go at it to start the match, brawling back and forth. MVP levels Dreamer with a big boot and kicks him some more, covering for a pin. MVP continues beating Dreamer in the back of the head.
MVP covers Dreamer for a 2 count and keeps on kicking and stomping at him. MVP backs Dreamer in the corner and hits him with right and left hands. MVP misses a running splash in the corner on Dreamer and Tommy starts to fight back. MVP kicks Dreamer off the second turnbuckle, dumping him on his head. MVP hits another big boot on Dreamer in the corner and pins him for the win out of nowhere.

- We go back to the big screen where the graphic flashes and Umaga is drafted to SmackDown! Umaga comes to the ring, lays Dreamer out with a big Samoan Drop and goes after Colin Delaney, splashing him in the corner. Umaga hits Dreamer with a big running splash in the corner and goes back after Delaney. Umaga demolishes Delaney and drops him with a huge tilta-whirl slam as we go back to commercial.
JBL vs. Kofi Kingston
Back from commercial and JBL's white limousine is pulling into the arena. Layfield steps out of the limo, representing RAW. Kofi comes out next to a nice pop, representing ECW.
JBL starts pummeling on Kofi to start the match, overpowering him and controlling him. JBL sends Kofi back to the mat with a big shoulder but gets hit by a flying shoulder of Kofi's. Kofi does a wild flip move, comes back and mounts an offense on JBL. Kofi covers and doesn't even get a 1. JBL levels Kofi with another big boot and locks him in a sleeper hold type move.
JBL continues to control the match and Kofi, getting another 2 count. JBL with more stomps and kicks on Kofi. Kofi finally catches JBL with a big boot in the corner. Kofi jumps up on JBL's front side in the corner, slides off and drops him with a dropkick after some punches. Kofi with a 2 count on JBL.
JBL drops Kofi Kingston with a huge side slam, catching him off the ropes and pins him for the win.

- Back to the big screen for another Draft pick. This time it's the ECW Champion Kane headed to RAW! The music hits and Kane comes out to the ring, staring down and laughing at JBL. Kane makes the flames rise around the ring as his music plays and we go back to commercial.

Jericho says he keeps coming out and telling the truth about Michaels and it will only be a matter of time before he turns on them as well. Jericho shows a video of HBK turning his back on various people over the years.
Jericho continues his rant on Michaels and how the people still stick by his side. Jericho says he refuses to allow the fans to chant for him any longer because he is not like any of them, he's an honest man and a good hearted person. He says the only other person like him is Lance Cade, who we see up on the big screen. Jericho talks about how Cade was Michaels' student and Cade says he was the greatest athlete to ever come out of HBK's academy.
Cade said he knew it was a matter of time before HBK turned his back on him also. Cade says HBK isn't going to get the chance to because he won't give it to him. Cade says the people might not appreciate Jericho, but he does. Jericho says he still doesn't have an opponent for Night of Champions and would love to defend against Michaels, but that won't be happening and we go back to the video of Jericho throwing HBK into the TV.
Jericho tells Michaels that the worse is yet to come. The music hits and out comes Shawn Michaels, also not dressed to wrestle and with the bandage over his eye. HBK takes off his hat, starts staring at Jericho and running towards the ring. Michaels spears Jericho, getting on top of him and pummeling him. They go to the outside brawling with Jericho getting owned. Jericho manages to trip Michaels head first into the announcers table. Michaels lays there on the ground, twitching and rolling around, holding his eye. WWE officials come down to check on him as Jericho watches, smiling. We go back to commercial as Michaels lays there in agonizing pain, or so it seems.
- Back from commercial and we see a clip of what just happened with Michaels and Jericho. We go to Michael Cole and Tazz who go over the Draft changes so far. To the next Draft match we go.
John Morrison and The Miz vs. The Hardy Boys
The WWE Tag Team Champions come out first, representing ECW. Vickie Guerrero comes to the ramp with Ryder and Hawkins, cutting the music. Vickie says she originally had this match setup so SmackDown could have a Draft pick. She says recent developments have changed her mind and she has found another tag team to face Miz and Morrison. Out comes Matt and Jeff, The Hardy Boys!
The Hardys come out to a huge pop from the WWE fans. Matt and The Miz start the match out Hardy knocking down Miz first. Matt and Miz go back and forth, trading shots in the corner. Matt levels Miz with a big clothesline and gets a 2 count. Jeff gets tagged in and the brothers hit a big double team move on Miz. Hard hits his sitting dropkick in the corner and gets another 2 count.
Hardy takes Miz down to the mat with a headlock and holds it. Hardy gets kicked in the back by Morrison. Morrison ends up hitting Hardy again and coming in to get a 2 count on Jeff. Morrison takes Jeff down to the mat as the crowd tries to get behind him. Hardy gets knocked down on the apron and kicked in the face by Morrison. The ref gets distracted and Miz jumps in on the double tam. Miz gets tagged back in and they hit another big double team move on Jeff for another 2 count.
The match goes back and forth with more tags and Jeff Hardy getting dominated. Another 2 count by Morrison. Miz comes back in and gets another 2 count. Hardy manages to take down Miz from the top. Matt finally gets tagged in, comes in and cleans house. Matt with a big clothesline and bulldog on Miz and Morrison at the same time. Hardy hits his trademark axe handle from the second rope and drops Morrison for a close 2 count.
Matt climbs to the top again but Morrison catches him. They fight on the top turnbuckle while Miz and Jeff fight outside. Matt pushes Morrison to the mat and hits a big leg from the top rope. Miz comes in, pulls the ref away. Morrison comes from behind and rolls Matt Hardy up for the pinfall and the win.

- We go back to the big screen where the WWE United States Champion Matt Hardy is drafted to ECW! Matt and Jeff embrace in the ring as Matt climbs the ropes for the fans. We go back to commercial.
- Back from commercial and Vince McMahon is at the ramp, ready to give away some more money. Vince brings out Ric Flair to help him give away this $100,000. Flair comes out to a huge standing ovation from the crowd. This time a woman picks up named Donna and gives the correct password out, winning the $100,000. Flair gives a big Whoooo! to this as we cut backstage.
- Backstage we see WWE Women's Champion Mickie James and Melina walking to the ring, giving each other some love as we go back to commercial.
Mickie James and Melina vs. Natalya Neidhart and Victoria
This match is an Announcers Draft only match. Mickie and Melina come out first followed by Victoria and Natalya, who are wearing their BFF shirts. Natalya and Melina start the match off first.
Natalya bullies Melina until she catches a big right hand in the eye. Natalya with a big powerslam and a 2 count on Melina. Victoria gets tagged in and starts kicking Melina in the head, throwing her in the turnbuckle and working on her mid section. Victoria continues to dominate Melina until Melina kicks her in the face and splashes her off the ropes for a 2 count.
Melina climbs the top rope but gets pushed off to the floor by Victoria. Melina lays on the floor, looking like she really hurt her ankle. Mickie protects her as officials start to come down. Victoria flies out of the ring, attacking Mickie and Melina. Natalya comes over here and the Divas brawl as Melina still lays on the floor. The referee rules this match a double DQ and says both RAW and SmackDown get a Draft pick.

- The graphics flash and Jim Ross gets drafted to SmackDown! Wow! Jim Ross stands up, and looks really pissed off as he takes his seat at the SmackDown announcers table. The other Draft pick is Michael Cole to RAW! Jim Ross looks legitimately pissed and there's a look of shock on everyone's faces. Back to commercial.
- Back from commercial and we see a clip of Melina falling on her ankle, where it looks like she sprained it. She was carried away from ringside, really crying. We go ringside with the new WWE announcing teams who still have a shocked look on their faces.
- Vince McMahon is back on the ramp, ready to give away some more money. Vince calls out The Great Khali to help him give out this prize. Vince talks about Khali being in the new Get Smart movie and asks him to say a few words about it, which he does, in his native language. Vince also brings up The Rock being in the movie and plugs WWE's new DVD on The Rock. They dial a number, the guy picks up and says its a wrong number. Khali starts yelling at the phone. They dial another number and a guy's dad picks up and calls his son to the phone. Of course, the guy wins the $100,000. Khali yells some more stuff into the phone. Edge's music hits out of nowhere.
Edge vs. John Cena
The World Heavyweight Champion Edge comes out to the ring first, representing SmackDown in this Draft pick match. We go to commercial before John Cena makes his entrance.
Back from a quick commercial and John Cena comes out to a huge pop from the WWE fans. Cena hits the ring to get ready to do battle with Edge. Edge and Cena lock up with Edge pushing him back in the corner. They go back and forth until Edge drops Cena with a right hand. Edge takes Cena down with more kicks to the head.
Edge continues to hit Cena with punches until Cena fights back only to get caught in a big powerslam and a 2 count by Edge. Edge keeps on pretty much controlling the match, keeping Cena grounded and dazed. Edge drops knees and kicks in Cena's back followed by short elbow drops. Cena finally drops Edge and covers him for a weak 2 count.
Edge comes back and pins Cena with his own 2 count. Cena fights back with big right hands and the two collide in mid-air and end up on their backs as the referee begins his count. Both men get back to their feet at six and Cena takes Edge down with high impact moves and a big back body drop, as usual. Cena hits the 5 Knuckle Shuffle on Edge, picks him up for the FU but Edge counters it. Edge gets picked up again for the FU but counters it for the big impaler DDT. Edge with a close 2 count.
Edge lines up Cena and gets ready to hit him with the Spear. Cena trips Edge and locks on the STFU. Edge finally reaches the ropes and the referee breaks Cena's hold. Edge pulls Cena's neck down over the ropes and gets back to his feet in the ring. Edge climbs to the top but Cena meets him up there and goes for a FU off the top rope. Edge slides out of it, knocks Cena off the top rope where he ends up on the floor, hitting his head. The ref begins his 10 count on Cena.
Cena catches Edge on his shoulders on the floor, carries him up the steel steps until Edge slides out of it again. Cena punches Edge to the floor and goes into the ring before the 10 count. Edge starts walking away and is counted out. Cena wins by countout.
Winner: John Cena by countout
As Edge is walking to the back, Batista attacks him from behind and beats him into the ring. Edge scrambles from the ring and leaves again as Cena and Batista look on.
- The WWE Draft graphics flash on the big screen and this time, Batista is drafted to RAW! Edge looks on, taunting Batista, who is still standing in the ring with Cena. Back to commercial we go.
- Back from commercial and we're backstage with Edge and Vickie Guerrero. Edge is talking about how he doesn't have to deal with Batista anymore. Vince McMahon walks in and reminds Edge he is still facing Batista at Night of Champions. Vince asks Vickie, what if Edge gets drafted off SmackDown tonight? Vince walks off.
MVP vs. Tommy Dreamer
MVP comes out first, representing SmackDown in this Draft pick match. Tommy Dreamer comes out next with Colin Delaney at his side. Dreamer and MVP go at it to start the match, brawling back and forth. MVP levels Dreamer with a big boot and kicks him some more, covering for a pin. MVP continues beating Dreamer in the back of the head.
MVP covers Dreamer for a 2 count and keeps on kicking and stomping at him. MVP backs Dreamer in the corner and hits him with right and left hands. MVP misses a running splash in the corner on Dreamer and Tommy starts to fight back. MVP kicks Dreamer off the second turnbuckle, dumping him on his head. MVP hits another big boot on Dreamer in the corner and pins him for the win out of nowhere.

- We go back to the big screen where the graphic flashes and Umaga is drafted to SmackDown! Umaga comes to the ring, lays Dreamer out with a big Samoan Drop and goes after Colin Delaney, splashing him in the corner. Umaga hits Dreamer with a big running splash in the corner and goes back after Delaney. Umaga demolishes Delaney and drops him with a huge tilta-whirl slam as we go back to commercial.
JBL vs. Kofi Kingston
Back from commercial and JBL's white limousine is pulling into the arena. Layfield steps out of the limo, representing RAW. Kofi comes out next to a nice pop, representing ECW.
JBL starts pummeling on Kofi to start the match, overpowering him and controlling him. JBL sends Kofi back to the mat with a big shoulder but gets hit by a flying shoulder of Kofi's. Kofi does a wild flip move, comes back and mounts an offense on JBL. Kofi covers and doesn't even get a 1. JBL levels Kofi with another big boot and locks him in a sleeper hold type move.
JBL continues to control the match and Kofi, getting another 2 count. JBL with more stomps and kicks on Kofi. Kofi finally catches JBL with a big boot in the corner. Kofi jumps up on JBL's front side in the corner, slides off and drops him with a dropkick after some punches. Kofi with a 2 count on JBL.
JBL drops Kofi Kingston with a huge side slam, catching him off the ropes and pins him for the win.

- Back to the big screen for another Draft pick. This time it's the ECW Champion Kane headed to RAW! The music hits and Kane comes out to the ring, staring down and laughing at JBL. Kane makes the flames rise around the ring as his music plays and we go back to commercial.
- We go back to Vince McMahon, ready to give away more money. This time it's a lady who is live in the crowd at RAW tonight. She stands up and gives the correct password, winning $100,000. We go to ringside where the announcers run down the Night of Champions card.
