Tournament Idea #1
What I would like to see is a tournament that consists of 8 teams, each of which has four members. Prizes would go to the members of the first place team (TOP 4). Now here is the format - Single elimination. Even though its a team tournament, everyone duels as an individual of each team and during the tournament unless there are only members of a given team left, they won't face eachother. These prizes can be divided however you want (and I suggest deciding prior to the tournament to prevent any big disagreements)
Now the format would be match single elimination. Also, if a member of a team has to leave or is unable to duel, a team member who had lost is allowed to step in. That means that if it is too late for an individual in a given time zone, they can go a couple rounds and then give up thier spot to a teammate (However once the spot is given up, it can't be given back).
As always I am hoping for a nice turn out with a lot of duelists ready to go.
I may or may not send out invitations this time.....that really depends on how long it takes the brackets to fill.
YOU DO NOT NEED AN INVITATION - THIS TOURNAMENT IS COMPLETELY OPEN FOR ANYONE WANTING TO TEST THIER SKILL - IT IS ALL ABOUT SKILL.
A running total of all people registered and paid will be kept on this thread - as bracket size increases, so will the choice of prizes.

A portion of all entries will go towards the Gamerspride ladder, they do a lot for the community and rarely ask for anything in return, I am glad to help out. Last time I gave a considerable portion of the prizes to the myleague ladder, and this time I hope to be able to provide the Gamerspride ladder with some decent prizes as well (so if you want to, feel free to donate above the minimum or even donate directly to them seperatly from this tournament)

This is how entry fees will work. As the tournament will consist of teams of people, you can combine your entries as an alternative if you should choose to. As a single, a card or combination of cards equalling 100 or more. For two people, you can enter as a fee one of the 150-200 point cards or higher. For three people, you can enter using one of the 250-300 or higher cards, etc. In addition to those cards listed there are obviously trading cards that were OVERlooked. If you happen to think up a card you think should be included or have another combination of cards that you think would make a fair entry, please feel free to let me know. If you do not pay your entry fee by the time the tournament begins, then your position will be forfeited. All people not entering on a team will be placed on one or can choose to form a team with people who do not have a team. Also, try to come up with a good team name smile.gif.....or I might just do it lol
A tip here would be to get rid of some of the rarity you might not be using. If the winning group can not figure out how to split up the prizes amongst themselves, then the easiest way to determine who should get to choose first is by looking at the results. I also have no problem waiting around for you guys to duel eachother.
Like I said earlier, this trade scale will be continuosly updated until the date of the tounament - some values may drop or raise depending on entries and trade scales I recieve - Thanks again to DKMagicianGirl, fatalflame, and now daimyo777 for your help with the trade scale.
