Quests are tasks that you accept from computer characters with ! above their heads.
Missions are Cities with a significant quest involved. All Missions show up as Shields on your map. They all have a primary and a secondary mission. Each will get you 1000XP. You may do missions as many times as you want, but you can only get the 1000XP for each part once. If you miss the secondary mission and only have one sword, you can do the mission again to get the secondary mission experience. You will NOT get the primary or secondary experience even if you complete that portion a second time.
