Jade and Mursaat are powerful hostiles you first meet in the Ice Caves of Sorrow mission. Infusion gives you defense against a spell they use. If your armor is not infused, the spell will do 100 damage per second to you. If you armor is infused it is reduced to 1o damage per second. If your armor is not infused, you best just avoid them. It is possible to get through the Ice Caves mission and avoid ALL contact with the Mursaat and Jades there. (You can NOT complete the secondary without beating through at least 2 groups of Mursaat. Try using powder kegs against them, it worked for me.)
After completing the Ice Caves, you are sent to the Iron Mines of Moladune mission. In this mission there is a sage that will infuse your armor. Then you can fight the Jades and Mursaat and complete the mission.
